| Our 12,000 square foot facility at Denton Municipal Airport is ideally located for your flight training needs. We have some of the best year-round flight training weather in the nation. The hanger is located on the east side of the airport and is highly visible upon entry into this area of the airport.
Our 12,000 square foot hangar and classroom facility is located at 4580 Spartan Drive. The classroom and office facility includes simulator room, testing room, four pilot briefing rooms, a weather station, a kitchen with a pilot's lounge, and a classroom all within 2,500 square feet. The remaining 9,500 square feet is dedicated hanger space. The USFA hangar facility incorporates a 65' X 20" electric bi-fold door. USFA also has a very large ramp area, totaling approximately 13,000 square feet, so our fleet is readily accessible to our students. In addition, 24 hour self-serve access to a private fuel facility for Avgas is available at discounted pricing. Denton Airport Information The Denton Municipal Airport(DTO) is located within the city limits, only four miles from the central business district and 15 minutes north of the Texas Motor Speedway. The airport uses a full instrument landing system and Navigational Directional Beam, Global Positioning System, VASI II and VASI IV, which are owned by the City and maintained by the FAA.
